Notices are appearing on office doors up and down the hall on the fifth floor: a new term has begun and it’s all happening here.
The first week of classes is (almost) over and wise students are looking ahead to their assignment deadlines and planning their workload. Beginning January 21st, the WRITING WORKSHOPS for students in English and History course resume, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Check those notices for exact times and locations. Take advantage of FREE HELP to master the mysteries of academic writing in these key humanities disciplines.
“WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THAT?” is a query English majors sometimes hear, usually from well-meaning but ill-informed questioners. It is also the title of INFORMATION SESSION for students taking English, thinking about majoring in English, curious about English, wondering into what career paths English might lead. Come for information, snacks, and English Society chits: Thursday January 22nd, 4:30 in Seton 526.
