Award-winning playwright Catherine Banks to read at Mount

Nova Scotian playwright Catherine Banks has received the Governor General’s Award for English Drama twice: in 2008 for Bone Cage and, more recently, in 2012 for It Is Solved by Walking, a play based on Wallace Stevens’ “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird.”

She will be reading from Bone Cage, a play set in rural Nova Scotia where environmental destruction destroys those who live there, along with her more recent work.

Catherine Banks lives in Sambro, Nova Scotia.
